As the Secretaries-General of HAKMUN’26, which will take place from July 1st to July 3rd, we would like to extend our warmest welcome to all participants of this distinguished conference.
As this marks HAKMUN’s first official edition and its first conference in Antalya, we aim to establish not only a conference, but a lasting tradition built upon vision, discipline, and excellence. HAKMUN’26 stands as a testament to what determined hard work and collective ambition can achieve when united under a single purpose. Our inspiration comes not only from our elders, but also from our younger selves, as we have held onto our ideals since the very beginning of our MUN journeys.
We believe that true greatness is not defined by titles, but by the ability to inspire, to take initiative, and to stand firm in the face of challenges. Throughout this conference, every delegate will be challenged to step beyond their limits, work diligently, and act with both confidence and integrity. HAKMUN’26 is designed to cultivate individuals who are not only participants of today, but also future leaders who will shape the world of tomorrow.
Our vision for HAKMUN’26 goes beyond just a three-day conference. We aspire to build a platform where diplomacy meets innovation, and where diverse perspectives come together to create stronger, more refined solutions. Ey Türk gençliği! Birinci vazifen; Türk istiklalini, Türk cumhuriyetini, ilelebet muhafaza ve müdafaa etmektir.
Mevcudiyetinin ve istikbalinin yegâne temeli budur. Bu temel, senin en kıymetli hazinendir. İstikbalde dahi seni bu hazineden mahrum etmek isteyecek dâhilî ve haricî bedhahların olacaktır. Bir gün, istiklal ve cumhuriyeti müdafaa mecburiyetine düşersen, vazifeye atılmak için içinde bulunacağın vaziyetin imkân ve şeraitini düşünmeyeceksin. Bu imkân ve şerait, çok namüsait bir mahiyette tezahür edebilir. İstiklal ve cumhuriyetine kastedecek düşmanlar, bütün dünyada emsali görülmemiş bir galibiyetin mümessili olabilirler. Cebren ve hile ile aziz vatanın bütün kaleleri zapt edilmiş, bütün tersanelerine girilmiş, bütün orduları dağıtılmış ve memleketin her köşesi bilfiil işgal edilmiş olabilir. Bütün bu şeraitten daha elim ve daha vahim olmak üzere, memleketin dâhilinde iktidara sahip olanlar, gaflet ve dalalet ve hatta hıyanet içinde bulunabilirler. Hatta bu iktidar sahipleri, şahsi menfaatlerini müstevlilerin siyasi emelleriyle tevhit edebilirler. Millet, fakruzaruret içinde harap ve bitap düşmüş olabilir.
Ey Türk istikbalinin evladı! İşte, bu ahval ve şerait içinde dahi vazifen, Türk istiklal ve cumhuriyetini kurtarmaktır. Muhtaç olduğun kudret, damarlarındaki asil kanda mevcuttur.
